Any space robot hands in existence cannot capture debris because they require their dedicated fixtures on the capture target. It is essential to establish a simple grasping system for the uncooperative target without such fixtures. The authors study such a grasping system that can grasp the original structure on debris or grasp its whole body. The system can also become a fixing mechanism for debris deorbit devices after separating from the service satellite (robot). In this presentation, the overview of our gripping systems and the latest issues are
