The flow field was solved by the moving-coordinate method with coupling of the equations of momentum and angular momentum for the system to obtain the motion trajectory of the parachute system. About the parachute models with and without gaps for two types of moments of inertia, numerical computations were carried out, and the differences were shown in deceleration effects, vibrational motions of the concave body, and trajectories.
