Since Oct. 2002, JAXA had operated an SMP-cluster type large scale parallel computing system, called NS-III. In April 2009, it was replaced with a multicore based scalable parallel cluster with approximately 12,000 cores, peak performance of 120 Tflops and 94 TBytes of main memory. The new system is called JAXA Supercomputer System (JSS). In this paper, after reviewing the overview of the newly installed system and parallel programming model on the new system, we present the results of preliminary performance evaluation for our current aerospace CFD applications as well as Linpack HPL on JSS., 形態: カラー図版あり, Physical characteristics: Original contains color illustrations, 資料番号: AA0064672029, レポート番号: JAXA-SP-09-011}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)}, title = {JAXA Supercomputer System (JSS) の初期性能評価}, volume = {JAXA-SP-09-011}, year = {2010} }
