 note = {Astrophysics with All-Sky X-Ray observations: 3rd International MAXI Workshop (RIKEN, 10-12 June 2008), Feasibility studies of searching new magnetar candidates by the GSC on-board MAXI are presented. The GSC/MAXI can marginally detect a faint ca. 1 mCrab source with only 7 days time integrated observations. Furthermore, the faint ca. 1 mCrab source is clearly detected by observations with a 30 days exposure time.
