Since this flow field can be thought as a superimposition of a channel flow with the Stokes layer because of linearity of the government equation, the results are considered from the point of view of stability of the Stokes layer. Parametric study shows the acceleration of the transition has a correlation of the stability feature of the Stokes flow.
