It is necessary to survey the characteristics of the thermal or optical properties and mechanical properties, electrical properties about them. However, there is a few data for electrical properties, in particular, the photoelectron emission characteristic in Japan. This report describes results of measurement of the photoemission current from the paint-type coating materials excited by ultraviolet-light. The used coating samples were seven kinds of white coating materials (inorganic conductive, inorganic nonconductive, silicon based conductive, silicon based nonconductive) which are used for the antenna portion of DPR (Dual frequency Precipitation Radar). The following measurement results were obtained. Photoemission currents value of silicon based samples were smaller than those of inorganic samples. Photoemission sites on inorganic conductive samples were distributed into active area and inactive area.
