International CFD Workshops for Super-sonic Transport Design National Aerospace Laboratory 19980316-19980317 Tokyo Japan, The motivation of the present study is to obtain a better understanding of supersonic boundary layer receptivity. To investigate the generating process of T-S (Tollmien-Schlichting) wave, direct numerical simulations are made using the TVD (Total Variation Diminishing) scheme. In order to introduce the external disturbance in the basic boundary layer flow, we allow the streamwise velocity on a narrow strip of the wall to oscillate in time with an angular frequency omega. Results of the present simulations show that the intensity of the excited T-S wave is proportional to that of T-S wavenumber spectrum contained in the external disturbance. Also shown is that for supersonic boundary layer flow most of external disturbance energy is simultaneously radiated as sound wave to the outer flow., 資料番号: AA0063609009, レポート番号: JAXA-SP-06-029E}, pages = {61--66}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)}, title = {A numerical study on the receptivity of supersonic laminar boundary layer}, volume = {JAXA-SP-06-029E}, year = {2007} }
