Nowadays, satellites mass and lifetimes have been increasing, however, Japanese monopropellant thrusters designs were not improved basically. It is therefore thrusters lifetimes have little margin for satellite demand especially in the 1N thruster. We conducted the FMEA in order to investigate the method of lengthen the lifetime of 1N thruster. Then we found out these weak points: (1) Strength of catalyst bed metal mesh, and (2) Lifetime of catalyst granules. We conducted the material analysis of catalyst bed mesh wire that is removed from a life-tested thruster and firing test with the thruster imitation equipment., 資料番号: AA0049054025, レポート番号: JAXA-SP-05-008}, title = {衛星用1液スラスタの信頼性向上活動について(FY16)}, year = {2006} }
