The Reynolds number is set to be Re(sub tau) = 1,020 where Re(sub tau) is the Reynolds number based on the friction velocity and the channel half width. It is known that this is one of the largest computations ever simulated in conjunction with this configuration, where about 1.4 billion grid points are required.
