The PDF of the velocity-sum at two separated points was almost Gaussian in the whole wave-number range. But for the velocity-difference, it obeyed Gaussian in the low wave-number range and gave non-Gaussian distribution in the viscous subrange. Correlations were calculated between the velocity-sum and the velocity-difference to examine the statistical independence of the cross-velocity. The even-order correlations of the cross-velocity were almost completely independent. But the odd-order correlation did not show such independence, because the PDF of the velocity fluctuation is not strictly symmetric and the skewness can not be zero.
