As a means of precaution for the last RW trouble, we need to consider the attitude control law without RWs. Ion thrusters equpped for propulsion are fixed on the plate which is actuated by 2 axis gimbals. Therefore the ion thruster can produce and control the torque around Y, Z axes by changing gimbals angle.In that manner we can utilize the thruster for attitude control.
