Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)), Sagamihara, Kanagawa Japan, ISAS/JAXA 観測ロケットS520の25号機によって実施するベア導電テザー実験（T-REX: Tether Rocket Experiment）について紹介する。この観測ロケットは2009年夏に打ち上げ予定で300mの長さのベア導電テザーを伸展させ、４種の工学実験と2種の理学実験を行う予定であり、いずれも世界初の成果が予定されている。25kmの長さの導電テザーを用いる小型衛星による本実験の発展、さらに、これらのテザー技術の宇宙開発での将来の応用についても触れる。, This paper introduces a bare electro-dynamic tether experiment on a sounding rocket. The project (T-REX: Tether Rocket Experiment) is to verify the performance of space tether technology. The sounding rocket will be launched on the summer of 2009 to deploy a bare electro-dynamic tape tether with the length of 300m. This project is expected to obtain results first in the world on bare tether performance concerning to four engineering and two science experiments. Another project to verify the space tether technology is also addressed as a small satellite experiment to deploy a bare 25km electro-dynamic tether, and the launch is expected in 2013 with employing a new solid motor rocket.
