This paper describes results and discussions about deployment experiments focused on dynamic properties of deployable spinning membranes for solar sail. In this study, we used the rotationally skew fold membrane models, and consider the effects of radius, folding pitch and membrane thickness. The results indicate that the membrane with smaller folding pitch is deployed quickly and larger radius causes rapidly deployment at the first stage of deployment. The wrapping direction which is equal to the spinning direction indicates the quickly deployment.
