So, the cost of spacecraft could be small. It is the advantage of control of nonholonomic system. This paper presents a new attitude control method using nonholonomic motion so called as the falling cat phenomenon. This motion is what a cat changes skillfully its attitude during free fall by twisting the body. This paper discusses twisting motion of a falling cat using the coning effect. The coning effect is that even the motion around an axis with no angular momentum results in the residual rotation when it resumes the original orientation. This rotational motion by the coning effect is kinematical.
