Main objective of USERS is to process super conductive material in micro gravity environment and to recover the product after the experiment. On May 30th 2003, the re-entry and recovery operations were successfully conducted, bringing experiment samples and beneficial information back to Earth. USERS became the first national project to succeed in recovery from orbit. This paper first describes the outline of USERS/REM and sequential events of the atmospheric re-entry until splash down to the ocean.
