For ATREX engine development, basic study and firing tests on ground is finished, then practical flight demonstration experiments are expected to obtain some parts and subsystem function, ATREX performance and some test dates. In this paper, ATREX practical flight demonstration test by using existing solid rocket motor to accelerate appointed Mach Number is proposed, and where thrust optimization for solid rocket booster is discussed.
