In order to construct efficiently the space structure, which has huge volume like a solar power satellite, the formation of truss structure becomes the important technical subject. First, the structural characteristics of truss structures are described in parametric forms. Next, the method and problem in replacing the huge truss-constituted mast to a single tube to perform simple structural analysis by personal computer is discussed.
