| 内容記述 | 現在宇宙研の工学委員会の下に設けられているソーラセールWGにて検討されている、ソーラセールによる惑星探査計画について、それらの軌道計画を紹介する。内容は、主として1)金星位置での対黄道面高傾斜角化および金星気球、2)木星スウィングバイによる対黄道面高傾斜角化であり、最後に今後の展開としてハイブリッドセールによるランデブー探査の可能性について触れ、3)メインベルト小惑星Vestaへのランデブー計画への展望を述べる。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The solar sails have been well known as a kind of ultimate propulsion means in future solar system exploration. Fundamentally, it does not consume any fuel and the converted specific impulse is infinite. For all these advantages, it has not yet been actually realized owing to some serious technological difficulties. They are the deployment of this large scale structure with steering capability and so on, This paper reports what has been studied at the Solar Sail Working Group (WG) under the Engineering Committee at ISAS. And this paper shows that the proposed sails will bring enormous scientific benefit in planetary exploration. | |||||||||
