In such a case,we propose to use the moving vehicle on the orbit using the Water-Energy-Cycle space propulsion system to transport persons and materials.This vehicle is small and is controlled by an astronaut and flies around the large space structure. It moves between points on the large space structure and will be called orbital transport cart, or "Space scooter".When we apply the Water- Energy-Cycle space propulsion system to the space scooter, the following advantages are considered.1) Because it uses water as a propellant, it is nontoxic and harmless.2) Because the propellant is GH2/GO2, Isp is larger than the hydrazine or N2 cold gas.3) Because it provides the electric power from fuel cells, astronauts can use power equipment such as manipulators.4) All energy for the mission period need not be launched at the first launch, because other rockets can transport water from the ground as a fuel during the operation period.We studied the rendezvous orbits of such a space scooter and showed it can move between any points of the large space structures. We also compared the fuel consumption of GH2/GO2 and other propellants., 形態: カラー図版あり, 形態: CD-ROM1枚, Physical characteristics: Original contains color illustrations, Note: One CD-ROM, 資料番号: AA0065107006}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究所, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)}, title = {水サイクル宇宙推進システムを用いた軌道上運搬機の検討}, year = {2011} }
