The microwave was transmitted from two elements of radial line slot antennas (RLSA) fed by phase controlled magnetrons with a frequency of 2.46 GHz and an output of 11O W. The airship is tied up at four points of the gondola. This is a retrodirective system that can transmit a beam to the direction of arrival of a pilot signal of 5.8 GHz sent from the ground. Two lithium-ion batteries of 28 V 30 AH are used as a power supply. The channel of 2.412 GHz was used for wireless LAN and a 429 MHz-band specified low power radio system was used for a backup telemetry and command network. The experiment was performed on March 5, 2009 from an altitude of about 33 m. The power transmission system operated normally. It was effective that the electronic buzzer connected to four-element 7 cm-square rectenna started to ring below the airship at the same time as the power transmission.
