Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, Sagamihara), A sounding rocket experiment is introduced to employ S520-25 in order to study the behavior and performance of an electro-dynamic tether (T-Rex project named "an angel robe"). The S520-25 will be launched at the end of August in 2009. The experiment is to deploy a bare tape tether with length 300 m at altitude of 300 km and study many engineering and scientific missions. The project is an international campaign by a team consists of EU, USA, Australia and Japan. Results of on-ground experiment are explained in this article for the measurement devices for the tape tether length and tether tension. This paper also introduces an advanced project for space tether technology as a small satellite equipped with 30 km tether. These space tether demonstration will provide new methods to study space environment. Future of space tether technology is also introduced as a tethered sampling methods of the surface of an asteroid, tethered solar power satellite, electro-dynamic re-boost employed for tethered international space station, and the electro-dynamic tether de-orbit of satellite., 資料番号: AA0064295020}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)}, title = {ベア導電テザー観測ロケット実験における射出試験}, volume = {28}, year = {2009} }
