There are two ways for prediction of temperature. One is transient temperature analysis, and the other is steady state analysis. For the thermal design of spacecrafts, both are important. We ordinarily use the maximum and minimum temperature obtained by the steady-state thermal analysis for the preliminary design. Therefore, although this method cannot treat large models, it is useful for preliminary design level. Because the heat transfer equation is a first-order differential equation, it can be easily solved by using MS (MicroSoft)-Excel. Temperature analysis using Excel are widely performed. But in many cases, they use cells as a meshes of the target's shape. The method that we developed this time simply uses Excel's worksheet as a data of thermal properties, and the calculation is done by Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). The analysis is done by using iterative sequential process and the equilibrium temperature will be calculated. The Excel sheet used for this method has good readability and can be used for a report directly. Because the calculation is coded by VBA, the code is easy to maintain. The calculation is done by VBA interpreter, so it is faster than ordinary Excel process. We applied this method to analyze the temperature of SLRA (Satellite Laser Reflector Array) equipped in ASTRO-G (Radio-Astronomical Satellite), and had a good result that agrees with an analysis using SINDA (System Improved Numerical Differential Analyzer) and detail model., 資料番号: AA0063965026}, pages = {126--130}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA/ISAS)}, title = {Excelを用いた定常温度解析のSLRAへの適用}, year = {2008} }
