That high cost of the electric power system is a burden for the development of small satellite by university students' team. In this paper, we try reduce the price of development by testing the commercial-off-the-self component under the space environment. There are four tests in the environmental tests: vibration test, vacuum test, isothermal test, and radiation-proof test. We experimented the environmental test of electric power system's parts: solar cell for ground, Li-ion battery, and microprocessor. From the result of tests, we confirmed that solar cell for above ground can be used in space by contriving ways to attach cells on the satellite. And we need to consider the power generation which change in vacuum environment. Li-ion battery sealing up is also enough to be used in space. By forecasting generation of heat and endothermic behavior at the electrical charge and discharge of Li-ion battery, we can use it for the heat design. At the last, we tested the semiconductor material device. From the four environmental tests, we know that semiconductor material device is useful in space. And we can forecast the lifetime on orbit of satellite by radiology test. In these experiments, we can know that these parts can be used on the satellite in space. Above these experiments, we need to conduct the heavy ion irradiation test for a more accurate measurement., 資料番号: AA0049121005}, pages = {21--25}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA/ISAS)}, title = {小型衛星QTEX-PRにおける低コスト電源系開発の現状}, year = {2006} }
