The system consists of large, thin, flexible rectangle plates connected to a bus system through tethers. Attitude of the tethered SSPS is gravity-gradient stabilized with employment of tether technology. The control method is studied for the solar panel, which is directed toward solar light in order to improve the efficient generation of electric power. The controlled performance is analyzed by numerical simulation.
