For the large space structure in the future, thin film structure will be widely adopted to reduce the weight and transportation cost. Since the impact of the space debris cannot be avoided for the large structure, we have to know how the film structure is damaged by the hyper-velocity impact. We are especially interested in the effect of the support structure (boundary condition) of the film on the damage. Three conditions, circular-type support for the circular target, square-type support for the square target, and support at the upper edge without support at the other three edges for the square target, have been studied. The impact experiment was conducted using the rail-gun at ISAS which accelerated a one-gram projectile up to 7.0 km/s. The preliminary results have shown that the damage for the circular support was relatively larger than that for the square support and for the upper edge support. The results have been obtained in the limited number of experiments. Besides the support condition, the pretension of the film seemed to play an important role for the impact damage. Further research is required for more definite and statistical analysis by repeating the impact experiment., 資料番号: AA0049120014}, pages = {67--71}, publisher = {宇宙航空研究開発機構宇宙科学研究本部, Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA/ISAS)}, title = {超高速度飛翔体による薄膜の破壊現象と拘束条件との関連性}, year = {2005} }
