| 内容記述 | While there are theories, such as the Giant Impact Theory, which address the relationship between the Moon and the Earth, all have theoretical defects. However an examination of the characteristics of the Moon shows that the Moon may be seen as the mother of the Earth. The reasons for this are (1) that Moon rocks are older than Earth rocks, (2) that the Moon has a long fault line, (3) that the Moon is very large for a planet, (4) that while the Moon has no magnetic pole it does contain magnetised rocks, (5) that many animals grow and reproduce according to the waxing and waning of the Moon, and (6) that human menstrual and birth cycles coincide with the lunar cycle. Also, while there is a "mother-child relationship with the Moon as the mother" phenomenon between the Moon and living things on the Earth, the intermediary for this link is not the gravitational pull of the Moon. Rather, tides are caused by a raised ocean floor and other linkages are governed by the electrical potential of air and earth. | |||||||||
