Temperature of irregularly shaped dust particles radiated by the sun is considered. As the calculation method of absorption cross section of the dust, MG-Mie method is used. MG-Mie method shows good agreement for the result with DDA (Discrete Dipole Approximation) in the range where the DDA method can be used to calculate the optical properties accurately only with a few percentage error. The difference in the particle shape causes difference of the dust temperature in terms of size dependence and of spatial distribution as the results of different optical properties. |
