Interaction of a stationary plasma flow with a dipole magnetic field is investigated for studying the details of the geophysical phenomena in the upper atmosphere, such as the formation of magnetospherc, collision free shock wave and plasmapanse, the excitation of aurora and so on. As the result of the experiment, formation of a spherical shell of plasma is observed around the magnetic dipole in the presence of a radial electric field. |
