本研究はナトリウムヒートパイプの使用温度範囲に関するものである。ナトリウムをヒートパイプの作動流体として使用する場合, 使用温度範囲内では, 蒸気圧は低く, ヒートパイプは不凝縮性ガスの影響を受け, 作動開始温度は高くなるので, 製造時に十分脱気を行い, 不凝縮性ガスを排除することが肝要である。ナトリウムヒートパイプの使用下限温度を決定する際の要因としては, この真空度のほかに, 低圧下で発生する気泡の影響についても注目する必要がある。本報では主にこの気泡によるナトリウムヒートパイプ不安定作動を調べ, 使用下限温度について検討したものである。 |

In this paper, the result of the useful temperature range of the heat pipe employing sodium as the working fluid is presented. The sodium heat pipe is manufuctured from SUS 316 L stainless steel tube with 25mm outer diameter and 1.5mm thickness and capillary structure is two layers of 50 mesh screen stainless. The total length is 1000mm, in which evaporator zone is 265mm, adiabatic zone is 235mm and condenser zone is 500mm. The test heat pipe was set mainly horizontally and the experiment was carried out at vapour temperature range from 500℃ to 700℃, in which heater input fluctuation, surface temperature profile, heater input etc. are measured. As the results of this test and another life test carried out in advance, the useful temperature range of the sodium heat pipe was discussed. |
