The tables of nuclear moments published by Mack and by Klinkenberg have been extended so as to include the moment values published more recently. The nuclear induction (or nuclear resonance absorption) values have been recalculated using the more precise value for proton moment given by SM50. The type of presentation of the table follows closely that of Mack. All the magnetic moments are given the diamagnetic correction. Only those references are listed that were not included in the articles of Mack and of Klinkenberg. A plot of eccentricity versus proton number for odd proton nuclei is shown in Fig.1 correcting the Fig.4 of MW53, in order to show the adequacy of introducing eccentricity to detect regularities among quadrupole moments. |
