現在HOPE(H-2ロケット打上げ型有翼回収機)の設計、開発のために国内外の多くの風洞で、対応風洞試験が実施されている。1996年よりNAL大型低速風洞もNAL/NASDA共同研究の一環としてこの対応風試に加わり、その年07HOPE形状15%模型の風試が航空宇宙技術研究所により行われた。その後宇宙開発事業団により、同模型を用いて英国DRA(Defense Research Agency)5m加圧式低速風洞で対応風試が行われた。一方、模型の大きさは異なるものの同一形状模型による風試が、国内の2つの他風洞においてすでに実施されている。NAL大型低速風洞は、この対応風試に参加することにより、(1)風洞設備改修により新たに導入されたスティング支持装置による風試の測定精度を確認すること、(2)他風洞との風試データの差異を確認、把握するとともに、その原因の究明、改善を目指すこと、(3)HOPEの設計、開発に有用な風試データを提供すること、を目的としている。今回ノミナル値、トレランスと呼ばれる統計量を用いて、上記の4風洞における07HOPE形状模型風試の結果の比較を行った。その結果を見ると、NAL大型低速風洞の風試データは、基本特性をはじめ、全般にわたり比較的良好であった。また、抗力係数を除くと4風洞全体の風試データのばらつきは、スペースシャトル開発における対応風試のものと同等、あるいはそれ以下であった。 |

Wind tunnel comparing tests for design and development of HOPE (H-2 Orbiting Plane) have been carrying out now in many wind tunnels in or outside the country. Since 1996, NAL large-scale and low-speed wind tunnel has been taking part in the test as a part of NAL/NASDA joint research, and wind tunnel test using 07HOPE 15 percent model was conducted by NAL in the starting year. After that, using the same model, a wind tunnel comparing test was conducted by NASDA with England DRA (Defense Research Agency) 5-m pressurized low-speed wind tunnel. On the other hand, the comparing tests were already carried out for the same shape but different scale model in two domestic wind tunnels. The NAL large-scale and low-speed wind tunnel participated in the comparing tests aiming: (1) to confirm measurement accuracy of wind tunnel tests with newly introduced sting support system for revitalization of the wind tunnel; (2) to clear up the cause of the difference and improve the wind tunnel, as well as to confirm the difference in test data from the other wind tunnels; and (3) to provide useful data for design and development of HOPE. In this report, the comparison of test results using 07HOPE shape model were made this time between the above mentioned four wind tunnels, by using statistic values called nominal value and tolerance. The results showed that the test data of NAL large-scale and low-speed wind tunnel are, as a whole, comparatively good including fundamental characteristics. And the variations of test data except for drag coefficients among four wind tunnels are equal to or less than those in the comparing tests for space shuttle developments. |
