航技研0.2m超音速風洞測定部における、大きなピトー圧変動の原因を解析するために、縮流胴の製造精度と総圧変動を集合胴内と縮流胴出口にて測定した。また速度変動についても縮流胴出口で熱線により測定した。製造精度は、最大直径の1/250の許容範囲内であると確かめられた。トンネルの中心線に垂直な水平線に沿った総圧変動は両方の出口で一様であることが示された。また、測定部では変動は急速に増加したにも関わらず、出口での変動は測定部でのマッハ数増加とともに減少した。マッハ数が2以上のときに観測される大きな変動は、原因はよりずっと上流にあるはずであるのに、縮流胴の下流で成長していた。逆に、1.8以下の低いマッハ数では、圧力変動の増加は小さい。もしも縮流胴内での変動が十分小さいならば、測定部壁の境界層が乱流であったとしても、測定部でのピトー圧に対するrms(平方自乗平均)値の比は0.1%未満にすることができるだろう。 |

In order to analyze causes of large pitot pressure fluctuations at the NAL 0.2 m supersonic wind tunnel test section, the contraction coordinates and total pressure fluctuations were measured at the settling chamber and contraction exits. Velocity fluctuations were also measured at the contraction exit with a hotwire. The coordinates were verified in the tolerance of 1/250 maximum diameter. Total pressure fluctuations along horizontal lines perpendicular to the tunnel centerline showed uniform at the both exits. They also decreased with the test section Mach number increment although the fluctuations increased rapidly at the test section. The large fluctuations observed at the Mach numbers not less than two grow somewhere downstream the contraction although the causes could originate upstream much more. On the contrary, the pressure fluctuation increment was small at the low Mach numbers not large than 1.8. If the fluctuations are small enough in the chamber, it could be less than 0.1 percent at test section in its rms (root mean square) value ratio to pitot pressure even when the boundary layers on the test section walls are turbulent. |
