| 内容記述 | We are searching P/Shoemaker-Levy 9 (SL9) before breakup from the Kiso Schmidt plates, which were taken for the orbital improvements of eight outer satellites of Jupiter and the detection of undiscovered satellites. Since these plates were taken from 1986 to 1992, during which period SL9 might be a temporary satellite of Jupiter, there is a possibility that SL9 before breakup might be photographed in these plates. The likely orbits of SL9 are computed with use of the orbital elements determined by Yeomans and Chodas and we searched moving objects near the areas along this orbit and detected twelve possible 'candidates' of SL9 before breakup. | |||||||||||||
