"In order to establish a light-weight and low-power air-revitalization system as a part of the simplified ECLSS, a new material called ""Multi-Functional Activated Carbon(MFAC)"" is being developed. The MFAC can remove CO2 and water vapor from the cabin air of space systems simultaneously. However performances of their removal depend on each other and must show very complicated behavior in an actual cabin condition. In this paper, virtual demonstration of their removal system connected to a virtual cabin using a newly developed numerical simulation program is briefly introduced." |
