JASMINE(近赤外線による位置天文観測衛星)は近赤外線を用いて銀河面やバルジにあるおよそ1億個の星の位置、距離、固有運動を高精度に測定する。天球の大円上をサーベイ観測する事により星々の位置を高精度に測定する手法を示した。JASMINEでは観測する際に大円上にある大角度離れた2つの領域を同時に観測する事により衛星の姿勢と星の相対的位置を同時に高精度に解く方法がとられるが、ここではその詳細を示す。 |

JASMINE (Japan Astrometry Satellite Mission for INfrared Exploration) will measure trigonometric parallaxes, positions, and proper motions of about a hundred million stars during the observational program with high accuracy. Presented is a method to estimate the positions of stars by observing along the great circle of the sky. In estimating positions of stars, two fields of view are observed. These two fields are perpendicular to the spin axis of the satellite. The positions of stars together with the attitude of the satellite can be determined by using the data from these two fields of view. |
