A Dornier Do-228, one of the experimental aircrafts of NAL, is to be modified into an in-flight simulator, named MuPAL (Multi-Purpose Aviation Laboratory). In order to develop the thrust control law for its Fly-By-Wire system, the engine response of the original Do-228 for power lever input is needed to know. This report describes the results of flight tests on the Do-228's engine torque response and constructs its mathematical model from the flight test data.
