Dispersion of the Ammonium Perchlorate (AP) particles and air voids is measured as degree of mixedness from a brightness histogram of X-ray computed tomography of AP/HTPB composite propellants. The mixture state of the propellant slurry is shown by drawing its sample and obtaining tomographic images. |
