A new method of generating an orthogonal, body-fitted grid is presented. It uses the equi-potential lines and the streamlines in an imaginary, potential flow around a body calcutated by the panel method as the grid lines. The computation is stable and grid density control is easy to achieve. It may also be extended to the generation of the so-called C-grids. |
