A new formula of structure viscosity has been theoretically derived and it has been ascertained that this formula holds good, not only for the trinitrocellulose solutions and the greases for which Philipoff's formula has been found quite invalid, but also generally for the colloids of which structure viscosities have been ever known. The so-called flow-elasticity of trinitrocellulose and grease which we have calculated by our formula has been discussed in its relation with temperature and concentration. |
