急拡大部と急縮小部をもつ2次元対称流路内の流れ特性を数値的に調べた。流路内では、レイノルズ数に依存して3つの異なる型(対称定常流れ、非対称定常流れおよび非対称時間周期流れ)の流れが起きていることを示した。流路の中心線に沿った圧力分布を数値的に評価した。特に、流路の拡大部と縮小部との圧力差を詳細に調べた。圧力差は、流れの型にはあまり影響されず、レイノルズ数に依存して異なると結論した。 |

Characteristic properties of flow in a two dimensional symmetric channel with a suddenly expanded and contacted part are investigated numerically. It is predicted that there occur three distinct types of flow in the channel depending upon the Reynolds number, which are symmetric steady, asymmetric steady and asymmetric time periodic flows. Pressure distribution along the center line of the channel is evaluated numerically. Especially, the pressure difference across the expanded and contracted part of the channel is investigated in detail. It is concluded that the pressure difference is not largely affected by the type of flow but differs depending on Reynolds number. |
