内容記述 An experimental and analytical study of the spray flow field formed by recessed post concentric-tube injector elements is presented. And also the analytical model which was derived by the author was applied to calculate the spray flow field under the same conditions as those of experiments which had been reported in various literature. By the experimental works the following results were noted. The recessed post elements exhibited good mixing efficiencies between the liquid droplets and the gasphase, compared to the flush-face elements. And the coefficient κ, which is the ratio of the half-width of liquid-phase mass flux to that of the gas-phase velocity, was proved to be the analogous Schmidt number of the spray, if it was considered to have the average density of a two-pahse flow. From the analysis of all the experimental data, it was found that the coefficient κ was expressed by the following relationship, κ=0.071+0.239log1/η(bulk) (PgUg)0/(PlUl)0 where η(bluk) is the local volumetric fraction of liquid droplets. The analytical method which was derived by the present study was applied to calculate the two-phase jet flow field under the conditions of experiments which had reported in the literature. The agreements between the analytical solutions and the experimental data are good except in the case of Laats’s one. This disagreement may be caused by the inadequate velocity measurement method used by Laats. The several analytical models in the literature, which had been assume no relative velocity between the gas-phase and the liquid-droplets, were proved to be inadequate except in the case where the liquid injection mass fraction was very small and the liquid droplet diameter was on the order of 10μm. By these facts the validity of the present analytical model was proved.
