回収衛星利用日中科学協力プロジェクトは、長征で打ち上げられる中国の回収型人口衛星を利用して、日本と中国の研究者が協力して、科学研究を行うものである。2005年より第1回プロジェクトとして、「中国の回収衛星を利用した日中科学協力研究としてモデル生物である線虫(C. elegans)を用いた宇宙環境ストレス影響の解明」研究を候補テーマとして、2006年秋のフライトを目指して、線虫飼育用の実験装置開発など準備を進めてきた。しかし、2006年春、中国側から日本の実験ならびに日本の装置は搭載できない旨の通達があり、これを見送りとせざるを得なくなったが、中国側研究者との協力を通じて、サンプルシェア実験として、日本が線虫の飼育・解析技術を提供する代わりに、飛行後サンプルの一部を譲り受けることとなった。本報告では、本サンプルシェア実験の概要を報告するとともに、2008、2010年などに継続飛行が予定されている中国回収衛星への日本開発装置の搭載の可能性を鑑み、本年度実施した実験装置の設計検討を報告する。 |

'Japan-China Science Cooperation Project with Recovery Satellites' is a science collaboration in which researchers in Japan and China perform science researches with the Chinese recovery satellites launched by the Chinese locket 'CZ-2'. 'C. elegans' Flight Experiment in Chinese Free Flyer' was, as a first project, planned to be flown in the fall of 2006 and had been prepared toward the flight. The project was unfortunately canceled by China in the spring of 2006, but 'C. elegans' was flown as a Chinese experiment and, through cooperation between the Japanese and Chinese researchers, the flight samples were shared. The design of the experiment equipment to be formerly used for the project was verified in this fiscal year for the future missions to be expected in 2008 and 2010. This article summarizes the outline of the sample sharing and the results of the verification of the experiment equipment. |
