| 内容記述 | ソーラーセールは、巨大な膜面に受ける太陽光を推力とする推進機関である。その実現に向けて課題となっていることの1つに、膜の収納・展開の問題がある。膜の展開方法の1つとして、スピンによる慣性力を利用する方法が考えられており、本研究では、膜のスピン展開運動を扱う。膜は非常に薄く軽量なため、空気抵抗など外乱の影響を非常に受けやすく、地上での動的試験は困難である。ここでは、真空チャンバでの実験システムを構築し、膜のスピン展開試験を行った結果を報告する。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The Solar Sail is a spacecraft that propels by sunlight. One of the problems to realize it is how to deploy the sail (or film) in the space from the status of being folded up. To deploy the film, using the inertial force by spin is considered as one of the ways, and this study deals with the spin deployment dynamics of film. It is difficult to make a dynamic experiment with film on the ground because it is easily disturbed by air resistance due to the property of being thin and light of film. In this study, an experiment on the deployment dynamics of the film was made, and the result was examined. | |||||||||
