| 内容記述 | In a previous work; the author studied the age-harening phenomenon of the copper alloys which contain magnesium and proved that in the alloys the hardening takes place. In order to clarify the mechanism of hardening and to study the effect of third elements on the copper-magnesium alloys, the author made a further research on adding to it 1 percent aluminium, antimony, chromium, iron, manganese, nickel, silicon and, tin. The results obtained may be summarized as follows : (1) The age-hardening is accelerated by the addition of 1 percent antimony and tin, but does not take place by the addition of 1 percent alminium, chromium, iron, manganese, nickel and silicon. (2) The copper alloys which contain magnesium and antimony are very brittle. | |||||||||
