| 内容記述 | 2点における速度の交差独立性、あるいは総和と差分の独立性は一様乱流の速度分布関数方程式を決定するための完結仮説であると仮定した。通常の速度独立性は2点間距離が大きい場合のみ有効であるが、交差独立性は短距離の2点に対しても有効である。速度の総和と差分に対して別々のスケール則、例えば、前者に対しては粘性スケーリング、また後者に対してはKolmogorovのスケーリングを適用することが可能である。この仮説をLundgrenおよびMoninによって示された1点分布関数の方程式に適用し、完結方程式が時間に反比例して減衰する運動エネルギーを仮定することにより、正規(ガウス)1点分布関数を与えることを示した。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The cross-independence, or the independence of the sum and the difference, of the velocities at two points is assumed as a closure hypothesis for making determinate the equations of the velocity distribution functions of homogeneous turbulence. While the ordinary independence of the velocities is only valid for points at large distances, the cross independence is valid for points at short distances as well. It is also allowed to employ different scaling laws for the sum and the difference of the velocities, for instance, the viscous scaling for the former and Kolmogorov's scaling for the latter. This hypothesis is applied to the equation of the one point distribution function indicated by Lundgren and by Monin, and it is shown that the closed equation yields a normal (Gaussian) one-point distribution function associated with the kinetic energy decaying inverse proportionally in time. | |||||||||
