壁近傍ストリーク構造に伴う3次元高剪断層の不安定性を実験的に調べた。壁に垂直に取り付けられた小さな網片によって、層流境界層中に単一の低速ストリークが作られ、対称およびな波動モードが壁の小孔によって励起された。対称モードは壁に垂直方向速度分布の、反対称はスパン方向速度分布の、それぞれ不安定性により本質的に支配されるという不安定特性を示した。また、これらの不安定モードの発達と崩壊についても吟味した。 |

The instability of three-dimensional high-shear layer associated with a near-wall streaky structure is studied experimentally. A single low-speed streak is generated in a laminar boundary layer by means of a small piece of mesh set normal to the wall, and symmetric and anti-symmetric wave modes are excited through the wall orifice. The instability characteristics of the symmetric and anti-symmetric modes, which are essentially governed by the instabilities of the normal-to-wall and spanwise velocity distributions respectively, are presented. The development and breakdown of these instability modes are also examined. |
